![]() ![]() Phoenix College graduate writing!! I have had a wonderful experience at Phoenix College. I’m trying to better my life so I can pay all my bills, including my student loans. It’s amazing how an individual wants to make a life for themselves and just be educated can be told no… basically you’re not good enough for us to educate you because you can’t afford it. I’ve worked in the ICU and managed in healthcare. I’ve been in healthcare 20+ years and I know I would be an outstanding RN. It’s not easy to survive on your own with no other income and attend nursing school, and because I can’t pay up front, he took my dream and life away. Antonio Thompson made a decision to not enroll me because of a balance I cannot afford to pay up front. ![]() Little did I know that there was only so much FA you can borrow to get through your bachelors. Young, and thinking I was doing the right thing many years ago, as the first to go to college in my family, I attended a private school which ate up my financial aid. ![]() I pay out of pocket because I have exhausted my financial aid on a different degree that still pays very little. The Mesa campus director, Antonio Thompson, took that from me. I put in 4 out of 6 semesters with Carrington. Here, I can attempt to pay bills by working full time days and still go to classes in the evenings. I lost almost everything I had where I was because of not working Harley any hours. I moved back to Az so I can work full time again and attend classes in the evenings. Where I’m from classes were only offered during the day. I struggled where I came from trying to work only as needed so I can go full time in nursing school. I recently relocated back to Az in hopes to finish nursing school here. I’m a student transfer from a different state which I attended Carrington college. ![]()
